What is QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique)?
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) was developed by hypnotherapist and author Dolores Cannon. It is a form of hypnosis that guides clients into a deep state of relaxation and focused awareness, allowing them to explore experiences, memories, imagery, and insights that arise from the subconscious mind.
During a QHHT session, clients are guided through an extended hypnosis experience designed to encourage self-exploration and reflection. Some people report experiences they interpret as past-life memories, while others encounter symbolic imagery, personal insights, or perspectives that feel relevant to their current life circumstances. Because each person brings their own beliefs, experiences, and questions to the process, no two sessions are exactly alike.
Many people seek QHHT out of curiosity about themselves, a desire for personal growth, or a wish to explore questions about relationships, life patterns, purpose, or spirituality. Participants often describe gaining new perspectives and a deeper understanding of themselves and their lives.
Today, QHHT continues to be practiced by trained practitioners around the world and remains one of the most widely recognized approaches to regression and exploratory hypnosis.
QHHT sessions are offered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and are conducted in person, as required by the QHHT method. Clients travel from throughout New Mexico to experience this unique form of exploratory hypnosis.

How to prepare for the session
-
Prepare a list of questions you would like to explore during your session. Common topics include relationships, career decisions, life transitions, personal growth, health concerns, and questions about purpose or direction. If you have a long list, prioritize your questions in order of importance.
-
Limit caffeine on the day of your session. The less caffeine you consume, the easier it is for most people to relax deeply.
-
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your session.
-
Dress comfortably.
-
Eat a light meal before your appointment. QHHT sessions are lengthy and can last up to four hours.
-
Before the hypnosis portion begins, we will spend time discussing your background, your goals, and the questions you would like to explore.
-
Your session will be audio-recorded. People vary greatly in what they remember afterward. Some remember most of the session, while others remember only portions of it. Listening to the recording afterward can be a valuable part of integrating the experience.
-
Your session is private. To help create a comfortable and distraction-free environment, no one else is permitted in the session room. Afterward, you are welcome to listen to the recording privately or share your experience with others if you choose.
How does QHHT differ from past life regression?
While both QHHT and traditional past life regression use hypnosis to explore experiences beyond ordinary awareness, the approach is somewhat different.
In a traditional past life regression session, the intention is specifically to guide the client to an experience they may interpret as a past life. In a QHHT session, the invitation is broader. Rather than directing the client to a past life, they are guided to a different time, place, or experience that may contain information relevant to their questions or personal growth.
Because the process is open-ended, people report a wide variety of experiences. Some encounter experiences they interpret as past-life memories. Others revisit events from their current lifetime, experience symbolic imagery, explore what they perceive as the time between lives, or describe locations and experiences that do not fit into any familiar category.
What emerges during a QHHT session is often influenced by the individual’s beliefs, expectations, interests, and subconscious mind. For this reason, no two sessions are exactly alike, and the experience is not limited to past-life exploration.
Many people are drawn to QHHT because of the opportunity to explore deeper questions about themselves, their lives, and their experiences in a relaxed hypnotic state.

About My Experience with QHHT
Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a hypnosis method developed by Dolores Cannon. In 2009, I had the opportunity to train directly with Dolores and later became a Level 2 QHHT Practitioner. Since then, I have offered QHHT sessions alongside my hypnotherapy practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Every QHHT session is different. Some people encounter experiences they interpret as past-life memories, while others experience symbolic imagery, personal insights, or perspectives that feel meaningful to their current life circumstances. Because each individual brings their own beliefs, experiences, and questions to the process, no two sessions are exactly alike.
What continues to fascinate me about QHHT is the opportunity it provides for self-exploration, curiosity, and discovery. Over the years, I have witnessed many unique and meaningful experiences, and I remain grateful to have learned this approach directly from its creator.

Interested in Exploring Past Life Experiences?
While QHHT is not limited to past-life exploration, many people are curious about the possibility of accessing experiences they interpret as past lives.
If this subject interests you, you may enjoy reading Live, Die, and Take Notes, a book by Anat Weinstein that explores real-life regression experiences and the questions they raise about consciousness, identity, and personal growth.
The book presents a variety of regression stories and perspectives, allowing readers to explore these topics from their own point of view. Whether you approach the subject with curiosity, skepticism, or a deep interest in spiritual exploration, it offers an engaging introduction to the world of regression work.
